I've been following what some people call the Team Kimberlin saga since early May 2012. Since then there have been arrests, threats, and multiple court cases both civil and criminal. And the story does not look to end for some time.
The story starts in 2011 with Seth Allen vs. Brett Kimberlin. In January 2012 there was an altercation between Brett Kimberlin and Aaron Walker outside the final court appearance of Seth Allen. This led to several court cases, criminal and civil, between the two. It also saw Aaron Walker arrested and his First Amendment rights violated. As it stands now Kimberlin ally Bill Schmalfeldt faces multiple criminal charges.
The cast of characters has grown to include several people such as WJJ Hoge III, Lee Stranahan, Neal Rauhauser, as well as many others.
There are many blogs that are telling this story, and mine is just adding to the list because I think the story must be told. My goal is to explain this as if I was trying to tell the story to my Mother. I have chosen January 2012 as my starting point, although the story does go back even further.
I plan on breaking my posts up by months. i.e. January 2012, February 2012, etc, etc. I hope you find reading the story as fascinating as I did while writing it.
